About Us

        Megan Reddick is a DONA International trained birth Doula. She is currently working on her full certification. As a mother of two boys, Megan understands the significance of the birth experience and is passionate about working with women and their families to achieve the mother’s goals in delivery. She also understands that the mysteries of birth do not always go as planned, and it is at these times that new parents may need even more support.

Megan believes one of the most important aspects of childbirth is that the mother and father are cared for, listened to and respected. In an environment of trust, whether it be her home or a hospital, a woman can allow her body to relax and birth her child into this world circled by love and support. Megan believes with the love of a partner, caring and support of a Doula, and the expertise of medical professionals, every woman can have the opportunity to experience a safe and satisfying birth.

When not caring for her own babies or helping bring other babies into the world, Megan works in Port Alberni as a teacher and a writer
